One of the most important choice you have to make, is to decide the controller type you prefer to be applied. The correct choice of the temperature controller is quite important since this always effects the performance of the furnace. Taking note of your requirements please observe following table and graphics to decide. Bentrup controllers in the table are best suited for ceramic furnaces since they are rather dedicated systems for ceramics firing whereas the rest are more convinient for laboratory furnaces. Almost all important features are listed below but if any further details are required please inquire.

Honeywell DC 1010
A simple to use and economical PID controller Housed in 48 x 48 mms case (1/16 DIN) this controller has a dual display where set and actual temperature can be observed. Definitions of several alarm features are also possible.

Honeywell DC 1020
A simple to use and economical PID single step ramp rate definable controller. Housed in 96 x 48 mms case (1/8 DIN) this controller has a dual display where set and actual temperature can be observed. Definitions of several alarm features are also possible.

Bentrup TC 60
Powerful yet compact microprocessor based control for 3 ramps and 1 dwell, upto 5 seperate firing profiles can be applied and these are kept in memory even after power-off. There is also a start-delay facility upto 10 hours.

Bentrup TC 40
TC 40 has a single programme which is very simple and user friendly to apply. Heat up in 5 selectable speeds to 580 °C then heat up full-on to selectable final temperature to a selectable dwell period.

Bentrup TC 60/8
A powerful controller where almost all firing curves can be achieved. Upto 8 steps and delay timer upto 10 hours. But it has only one user definable programme.

Honeywell DC1040
Honeywell DC1040 is a powerful PID programmable controller where 2 different programmes of 8 steps each can be applied. Housed in a compact 96 x 96mms case it also features a dual display and several alarms as standard.

Honeywell DCP100
Honeywell DCP100 is a sofisticated and very capable PID programmable controller where 8 different programmes of 16 steps each can be applied. Housed in a compact 96 x 96mms case it also features a dual display and several alarms as standard.

Kent Taylor, Commander 100
Commander 100 is a 4 step controller (2 ramps and 2 dwells) with an economic price. It is housed in a 1/8 DIN size measuring 48 x 96 mms. Dual display is provided by LED ’s behind a wipe and clean membrane panel.

Honeywell UDC 2300
12 step programmable controller of 6 ramps and 6 dwells. Alarm relay and computer connection is available as an option. To provide a very sensitive control under programme application, fuzzy control is a standard feature.
